Vincera Software, ePartners, Inc. and TengoInternet select VEM to provide positioning, market validation and market segmentation

AUSTIN, TX, December 12, 2002 – VisionEdge Marketing, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based strategic marketing consulting firm, announced today three new customers. Vincera Software, ePartners, Inc. and TengoInternet have selected VisionEdge Marketing to provide such services as positioning, market segmentation and market validation. These companies were three of the 14 new customers VisionEdge Marketing secured during 2002.

Despite the tough economic year when many marketing services firms had to trim down, VisionEdge Marketing maintained its revenue and profitability. The company completed 20 engagements, more than half of which were new customers. Since start of the company three years ago, VisionEdge Marketing has assisted more than 50 companies develop strategically tactical programs to influence purchasing behavior, drive demand and impact revenue through its metrics-driven, customer-centric strategies and tactics.

Many companies appeared to be making changes to their marketing programs this year, according to VisionEdge Marketing’s Business Readiness Report. The semi-annual survey assesses the level of strategic readiness for dealing with today’s challenging business environment. More than 75 percent of the respondents to the Business Readiness survey said they were making adjustments in their brand positioning during 2002. One such company was Vincera Software, which engaged VisionEdge Marketing to help the company analyze the market landscape and develop a strategic positioning platform for the company’s new technology breakthrough.
